Privacy Policy
How we handle your information on CareerPath India. Short version: we collect very little, never sell anything, and you can ask us to delete it anytime.
What we collect
- Nothing by default. Browsing the site (homepage, careers, exams, colleges) does not require login or personal data.
- Your shortlist (My Plan) is stored only in your browser's
localStorageon this device. It never leaves your device. - Quiz answers are processed in your browser to render the Sankey diagram. They are not sent to our servers.
- 1:1 mentor bookings collect your name, email, phone, class/stream and payment confirmation. We use this only to schedule your call and keep records for 12 months.
- Email contact — anything you send to
hello@careerpath.inis read by a small human team and used only to reply.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your data to coaching brands, colleges, edtechs or anyone else.
- We do not run paid promotions disguised as content. NIRF rankings, exam dates and scholarship lists are unedited.
- We do not require you to create an account to use the site.
Cookies & analytics
We may use lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics (page views, country) to understand which pages help students most. No cross-site tracking, no third-party ad cookies.
Your rights
Email us to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. We respond within 7 working days. Children below 13: please do not submit any personal information without a parent/guardian.
